讲座: MATHEMATICAL MODELLING FOR MACHINE INTELLIGENCE
演讲者: 哈尔滨工业大学 石大明 教授
演讲者简介： 石大明，哈尔滨工业大学机电节造学博士、英国南安普敦大学推算机学博士、IEEE高级会员。自1997年起，在国表历任新加坡国立大学博士后、新加坡南洋理工大学助理教授、IEEE SMC学会智能网络系统技术委员会主席 。曾被德国、韩国、澳大利亚等地多所大学聘为接赐教授；哈尔滨工业大学特聘教授、博士生导师，英国密德萨斯大学、哈尔滨工程大学兼职教授。钻研方向蕴含：机械人视觉、模式鉴别与人为智能。已出版专著一部、学术论文100余篇，其中多篇论文以第一作者颁发在IEEE TPAMI、IEEE TIP等国际权威刊物。
讲座提要：
人类一向妄想着让机械占有像我们一样的观察、鉴别与认知的能力。而无论从进建、视觉及认知的角度，机械智能是与数学息息有关的。本汇报将概括论述若何针对机械智能成立数学模型，而后利用相应的数学工具解决问题。
It is always our dream to build up machines with capabilities of perception, recognition and cognition just like human beings. From the point of view of learning, vision and cognition, machine intelligence can be realized in a mathematical way. In this seminar talk, different mathematical modeling methodologies will be discussed with case studies of machine intelligence applications, such that the corresponding mathematical tools can be employed to solve the engineering problems.
